We don’t predict who wins. We find the sportsbook selling a bet for less than it’s worth.
1. Find the real price
Every sportsbook posts its own line. We take out each book’s cut and blend all 19 into one market price, leaning on the sharpest books. That’s the fair line: what the bet is actually worth.
2. Spot the bargain
Books don’t always agree. When one is a step behind and offers a better number or payout than the fair line, you’re paying less than the bet is worth. That gap is your edge.
3. Score it
A Bettrpoint rates the bargain from 0 to 100. A bet reaches 80, and becomes a pick, only when the edge is at least 1% and big enough that we’re sure it’s real, not a rounding error in our math. Games where the books disagree most get a small bonus, because that’s where bargains come from.
4. Bet the number
Each pick tells you which lines and prices to take and how much to stake. A better number gets a bigger stake. If your book’s price is worse than what we show, skip it.
Does it work? We checked against the toughest test in betting.
Anyone can show a hot streak. Wins and losses swing on a missed kick. The real test of a bettor is the closing line: the market’s final price right before kickoff, after every sharp bettor, model and injury report has had its say. It’s the most accurate number in sports betting. Bettors who beat it consistently win over time, and sportsbooks know it: that’s who they limit.
So we went back to the full 2025 season, NFL and college, and re-priced every game at the real prices books were posting a few hours before kickoff. Then we checked every pick against where the line closed.
- Not luck. If our picks were coin flips against the close, 33 of 37 would happen less than once in a million tries.
- The bigger the edge we called, the bigger the move. Bets we rated under 1% didn’t beat the close. Bets we rated 2% or better beat it by almost 4% on average. The math isn’t just right, it’s calibrated.
- Our market price beat the sharpest book in the world. Our blended price predicted where lines would close more accurately than Pinnacle’s, in both the NFL and college.
- NFL spread picks went 7–3 (+3.8 units at 1 unit each).
- We only ship what passes. College totals didn’t clear the bar in testing (13 of 20), so we don’t publish them. When the math says no, we say no.
Live record
Every pick we publish is logged the moment it goes up and graded against the close and the final score. No deleting, no cherry-picking.
37 picks is still a small sample, and the 2025 results are a historical test. Beating the close is the best long-run sign of real value, but any single bet can lose and profit isn’t guaranteed.
